Microsoft urges Windows customers to patch
IMPORTANT SECURITY BULLETIN
Microsoft has urged Windows customers to patch a newly discovered “wormable” vulnerability (similar to the WannaCry malware that spread across the globe in 2017, costing the NHS £92m alone).
The flaw is so severe that patches were released for XP and Server 2003, which haven’t been supported for years.
The flaw is not present in Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.
Since the announcement, CSSCloud has been actively patching systems.
If you use a Windows computer that isn’t managed by CSSCloud (and it isn’t running Windows 8, 8.1 and 10) we strongly advise you ensure Windows Update is fully up-to-date.
